Looking for a career where you're more than just a number?
Welcome to Axiom Maths
Axiom Maths is a charity aiming to radically increase the number of great mathematicians leaving Britain’s schools.
Half of disadvantaged eleven year olds who are top performers in maths at age 11 do not go on to get a high grade at GCSE. This represents a huge loss of talent that harms both those individuals and our country as a whole.
Can you help us change this?
We're growing the team
Axiom Maths is a new charity in a period of substantial growth. We are looking for people who want to be leaders in a small organisation. You'll need to enjoy working in an agile and rapidly changing organisation, and be comfortable with adapting to schools' and teachers' needs rather than executing on the original plan. You need to be excited about mathematics and its ability to transform pupils' lives.
We're looking for team members who will bring the best of themselves to Axiom Maths, and the best of Axiom Maths to the wider system.

Diversity
We exist to support children from all backgrounds, but especially those that are traditionally under-represented in university-level mathematics. We believe we will serve those children better if we have people on our team who have first-hand understanding of their experience. We therefore particularly encourage applications from people who share one of these backgrounds.
We do not want potential candidates to be put off if they believe they do not meet every one of the criteria as described in the following Person Specification. We are most interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and we encourage you to apply even if you don't believe you meet every one of the core criteria.
